Yonex VCORE 100

The VCORE 100 is suitable for a wide range of players who are looking for a racquet to maximize spin and power that stands up to an aggressive full-court game.
The headsize of 100 square inches will provide easier power and access to spin than the smaller head size variants (95 & 98). The weight of the frame at 10.6 ounces, being slightly on the heavier side of average, has the heft to redirect strong volleys and return of serves and the plow-through will enable great depth and power from the baseline on full swings. It’s head light balance means there is minimal sacrifice to maneuverability which will help to achieve maximum spin. The open string pattern will also enable greater spin potential, additional power and a more forgiving sweet spot. The racquet’s frame has been slightly thickened from the previous edition which improves the frame’s stability and power generation.
In this generation, Yonex has added Flex Force, a graphite material incorporated in the upper throat to the lower frame to improve snapback of the racquet for improved spin generation. The design process for the frame has also considered its aerodynamics and has been molded to reduce air resistance which will enable easier maneuverability and as a result increased spin potential. The grommet system has been redesigned with String Sync Grommets which similarly improved movement of the strings and consequently improves snapback for greater ball bite and spin potential. The racquet’s grip has a Vibration Dampening Mesh wrapped around the handle to improve comfort. As usual, the VCORE racquet series hoop is designed using Yonex’s signature Isometric head shape so it benefits from a forgiving sweet spot for increased power without sacrificing the racquet’s control.
Yonex has kept much of the previous VCORE 100 intact, while improving on its maximum spin potential, stability and power generation. This racquet will satisfy intermediate to experienced players who want a racquet to empower their dynamic and aggressive game.
