Babolat Pure Aero Tour 2019

An update to the heaviest version of the Pure Aero series is now available. It is a powerful and spin-friendly but demanding racquet – ideal for strong competitors and expert players (intermediate to advanced). Babolat has kept much of the previous version’s specs intact while re-engineering it to increase softness of feel upon ball impact.
This racquets extra weight and head-light balance coupled with the Aeromodular (aerodynamic) design makes for a racquet that provides plenty of spin potential while enhancing stability and power. Generating power and spin should not be a problem for players with enough strength and proper technique. If there has been one aspect of the past versions of this racquet that some players did not love, it would be its fairly stiff flex. Babolat has addressed this by moving their Cortex Pure Feel technology to the head of the racquet at 3 and 9 o’clock. This results in a noticeably softer feel at impact as well as a touch more control. A change that most players will welcome. Babolat’s FSI Spin technology is also present in the Pure Aero Tour 2019 which brings wider spacing between the strings in the sweetspot provide extra bite into the ball and oblong grommets at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions create more string snapback to further enhance spin potential.
With a little more feel and precision, the 2019 update is sure to appeal to players who look for a racquet that enhances stability on heavy swings, generates powerful returns and also provides plenty of access to spin. This is a racquet to dominate with.
